Trevor Fencott
Chief Executive Officer, Bedlam Games
Trevor is Chief Executive Officer of Bedlam Games, developers of frontline console titles for the PlayStation3 and Xbox360. He is a ten year veteran of the games industry and has been credited on more than 20 console and PC titles including Playboy: The Mansion, Pariah and Land of the Dead. Previously, Trevor was co-founder and President of Groove Games, a boutique international publisher of video games. Prior to Groove, as a practicing attorney, Trevor built the video game practice at the law firm Goodmans LLP and Goodmans Venture Group where he advised developers, publishers and the investment community on licensing, game development and financing. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws degree.
Trevor serves as Chairman of the Games Committee and as a Board member of Interactive Ontario, an industry association representing over 200 interactive companies in the Province. He also serves on the Ontario Media Development Corporation’s Digital Media Advisory Committee and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade’s Ontario Video Game Steering Committee.
Bedlam’s music and party game division, Commotion Interactive, are currently working on the much anticipated title Scratch: Ultimate DJ for PS3 and Xbox360.
